HyreBit bridges the gap between neighborhood job seekers ("Earners" or "Job Seekers") and local storefronts, retail outlets, supermarkets, and cafes ("Employers" or "Partners"). Because our core mission involves matchmaking within localized radiuses, our platform relies on specific location and identity information. This document explains transparently how that information is handled.
Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum necessary information required to verify identity, foster trust, and deliver rapid job matchmaking:
A. For Job Seekers & Gig Earners
- Account Basics: Full name, verified mobile phone number, and optional email address.
- Profile & Qualifications: Skills (e.g., Barista, Cashier, Inventory), spoken languages, availability preferences, and prior work experience.
- Application History: Gigs applied for, accepted shifts, clock-in timestamps, and shop ratings.
- Payout Information: Bank account, UPI ID, or digital wallet details necessary to process direct wage payouts.
B. For Local Employers & Business Owners
- Business Profile: Registered store/cafe name, manager contact name, official phone number, business email, and storefront address.
- Verification Credentials: Business permits, GST numbers, or municipal trade licenses to qualify for the "Verified Partner" badge.
- Hiring Listings: Shift hours, job requirements, wage rates, and manager review remarks.
C. Technical & Diagnostic Information
- Device model, Operating System version (iOS/Android), unique device identifiers, IP address, crash analytics, and platform interaction logs.
Location & GPS Data Usage
HyreBit’s core value proposition is instant local hiring. To display opportunities located within walking or quick commuting distance (such as within 1km to 5km), our application requests access to your device's location services.
Foreground Location
Accessed while actively browsing the app to calculate proximity tags (e.g. "0.8 km away") and prioritize nearby job listings.
Geofence Shift Verification
Used during confirmed work shifts to verify shift arrival and enable instantaneous wage release upon completion.
Your Control: You may grant or withdraw location permissions anytime through your device’s operating system settings (Settings > HyreBit > Location Permissions). Note that disabling location may limit job discovery to manual neighborhood search.
How We Use Your Data
We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

Information Sharing & Disclosure
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third-party advertising companies. We only share information in the following clearly defined circumstances:
- Between Job Seekers & Verified Employers: When an earner submits a job application, their contact name, phone, listed skills, and distance are transmitted to the verified employer to review the hiring request.
- Service Providers & Infrastructure: Trusted cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS/Google Cloud), SMS verification delivery gateways, and regulated payment processors bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Mandates: When legally compelled by court orders, government authorities, or to protect the vital safety of individuals on our platform.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services and comply with financial record-keeping standards (such as payroll audit logs).
How to Permanently Delete Your Data
You can permanently delete your profile at any time by going to HyreBit App > Settings > Delete Account, or by visiting our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Portal, or by emailing privacy@hyrebit.com.
Upon confirmation, all your profile data, personal identifiers, and application records are scrubbed from active databases within 14 business days, except records legally required for tax compliance.

Our landing website (hyrebit.com) uses minimal functional cookies and session tokens to preserve authentication states and analyze anonymized site traffic. We do not use intrusive cross-site tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings without impacting core website viewing.
Children's Privacy Protection
HyreBit is strictly designed for individuals who have reached the legal working age in their relevant jurisdiction (minimum 18 years of age, or 16+ where legally permitted by local labor frameworks with parental consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we discover an account registered by an ineligible minor, it will be promptly suspended and deleted.
